This lovely but strange girl began life in 2008 as a painting on canvas, but I wasn’t happy with the composition and 9 months later I cut her out and pasted her over the top of a charcoal drawing which I wasn’t happy with either. I find it interesting that the only recognisable image from the drawing is the eye in the bottom left corner. I feel like its waiting to see what I’ll do next. Will I heed the message or won’t I?
